* All sessions are approved for PACE CE credit EXCEPT the SCCA Annual Meeting.

Please find below helpful information on the format change schedule.

What about in-person or live CE Credits?
All hours offered will qualify for live face-to-face credit in South Carolina! Because the SCCA already had our classes approved for in-person credit, any hours we now do online August 27-30, 2020 would fit into the exemption the Board of Examiners adopted this Spring:

  • “In light of the current dangers posed by person-to-person interaction, the SC Board of Chiropractic Examiners will accept any live-streamed rendition of a prior-approved continuing education program to meet the face-to-face requirements.”

We will still be offering 32 hours of quality continuing education August 27-30, 2020—all of which will count for live credits in South Carolina. These will include the required hours for Rules & Regulations and Risk Management.

For North Carolina licensees, live-streamed content will count towards in-person hours for 2020 so North Carolina licensees can meet all requirements through the SCCA Virtual Convention.

For all other states, our convention is approved for credit, but you will need to check with the respective licensing board for online vs. in-person requirements. We will be happy to assist you in doing so.

You must leave open the browser tab of each live-streamed session for the entirety of the session to receive CE credit.

Will I receive a refund?
All cancellations must be received in writing. Refunds are available through July 15, 2020. No refunds will be granted after that time.

How will I access the classes and materials?
You will be able to access classes from your computer, smartphone, or iPad device. You will need internet access. All materials will be available on the SCCA website. The SCCA will send more information on accessing including log-in information to all registrants as the convention approaches.

What if I am an exhibitor?
Exhibitors are what make our conventions tick! We value our relationships and will be contacting each of you directly on virtual opportunities.
Technology Required for Attendees
You will need access to a desktop computer or laptop with internet access to attend the upcoming virtual convention.

Days of the Event
Login usernames and passwords will be provided to registered attendees before the SCCA Virtual Convention.

Once logged in, you will enter the Lobby, where you can access:
  • The Schedule of Events (with easy links to conference halls to attend speaker
  • sessions)
  • Conference Halls
  • Expo Hall of Vendor Booths
  • How can I interact with others?
Attendees can experience a sense of community and collaboration during our virtual convention with:
  • Message Board
  • List of Attendees
  • Virtual interaction with Vendors
  • Gaming System with Leaderboard - displaying top point receivers for participating in activities, such as, attending sessions and interacting with vendors.
  • Attendees may visit the SCCA Virtual Exhibit Hall where our vendors and sponsors will showcase their products or services. Connect with your favorite companies from the comfort of your computer screen. Each virtual booth includes an option for getting in touch and requesting more information if you choose to do so.

Score points on the leaderboard for every interaction you take at vendor booths like downloading brochures!

How do I find sessions I'd like to attend?
Convention registrants can attend speaker sessions by selecting the corresponding conference hall for that session listed in the lobby. You can also access sessions directly from the Schedule of Events tab if you choose.

Reports of attendee participation in sessions will be provided to the SCCA, ensuring that you have everything you need to verify attendance and participation for providing continuing education credits.
