Attendee General Information

There are 3 ways to register, online now, by mail/fax, PO Box 1763, Columbia, SC  29202, 803-252-0589 and on-site at the convention.  Click here for a printable registration form.  Please be aware that any discounted fees expire July 15, 2010.  Don't wait until the last minute to register!

Complete your registration by June 15th to take advantage of the early bird rate and save!  Health Network Solutions has also agreed to pay half of the early bird registration if received by June 15th, for those SCCA members and nonmembers linving in  SC and participiating with HNS.  If you are a Palmetto Club member and want to take advantage of this savings, the HNS reimbursement will be applied to your Palmetto Club dues.

All cancellations must be received in writing.  Cancellations prior to July 1, 2010, will receive a full refund, less a $50 admininstrative fee.  We are sorry but no refunds can be offered after July 1, 2010 due to hotel guarantees and printing costs.

Namebadges are required to enter the exhibit hall, all seminars and any optional event.  Attire for the conference is business casual.  One last important item, please note, we cannot control room temperatures and suggest you bring a sweater or jacket!

Accommodations

Kingston Plantation

For hotel reservations, please contact the Kingston Plantation at 843-449-0006 by June 28, 2010 or by clicking here.  If calling please mention that you are with the SCCA in order to receive the group rate.  The SCCA room block is in the Embassy Suites and the Brighton Tower.  All seminars are located in the Embassy Suites conference facilities. 

Room Rates

Embassy Suites - Oceanview Suite - $205 per night.  The hotel rate includes a complimentary breakfast and complimentary manager's reception (5:30 - 7:30  daily)  per person, per day based on single/double occupancy.  Villa and condonium accommodations do not include these complimentary services.

Brighton Tower 

1 Bedroom Oceanview Guestroom - $169 per night.  The guestroom is one room with a king bed and a large bathroom.  The guestroom also includes a refrigerator, microwave and coffee-maker.

2 Bedroom Oceanview Condo - $294

3 Bedroom Condo - $384

Embassy Suites Conference Facility - Take advantage of these opportunities to see what the exhibitor's have to offer.  There are continental breakfasts on Friday and Saturday mornings, Lunch with the Exhibitors on Friday and 2 CE hours available on Saturday morning.  Please remember that you must be registered and have a namebadge to enter the exhibit hall.

Spouse & Child Program - Dolphin Cruise Aboard the Sea Thunder

 Friday, July 30th, 10:00 am - Enjoy a narrated cruise of the historic Intracoastal Waterway, touring all the way to the Little River Inlet, cruising through South Carolina’s most pristine scenery. You will cruise by homes, marinas, and uninhabited islands, while all the time exploring for birds, sea turtles, and other marine life along the way to watch the playful dolphin. You will also pass 2 unique fishing villages learning about the history of the area which includes civil war battles, pirate ship attacks, and geographical history. The boat picks up speed as it approaches the blue granite rock jetties; offering an exhilarating ride into the Atlantic Ocean. This vessel offers a safe speed boat ride toward the local shrimp boats that provide a natural feeding habitat for the dolphins. Upon arrival at the dolphin sighting location, the captain will slow to an idle so everyone on board can get a good look at the dolphin. Be sure to bring your camera and wear casual clothes or a swimsuit. Depending on surf and wind conditions, you may get wet. The cruise takes from 11/2 to 2 hours and if you do not see dolphins you can ride again free. This cruise is the most popular boating attraction in Myrtle Beach attracting about 40,000 people each year, many of whom are repeat passengers.
